Adult Studies

New Classes

Because we believe that exposition of Scripture is the main mechanism for our spiritual growth in the understanding of God and His plan, we focus our adult studies primarily on study of Scripture, not topical studies. However, verse-by-verse exposition also needs to be guided by an overview understanding of the author's themes, purposes, and audience so we don't take verses out of context. Therefore we will be offering studies each quarter with options of book study (exposition) and Equipping (methods of study, doctrine, backgrounds, etc.)

Sanctuary Class

New Testament Overview

Meeting in the main sanctuary, this class will look at the backgrounds, themes, purposes, and main points of each of the New Testment books. First we will look at the Gospels, followed by Acts to set the historical background for the folloiwing study on the Epistles. The Epistles will be studied in chronological order rather than Biblical order to help understand the effects of the setting and events expressed in the background from Acts. Taught by Tom Brunson
