Adult Studies - New Testament
This class looks at the backgrounds, themes, purposes, and main points of each of the New Testment books. First we will look at the Gospels, followed by Acts to set the historical background for the folloiwing study on the Epistles. The Epistles will be studied in chronological order rather than Biblical order to help understand the effects of the setting and events expressed in the background from Acts.
The notes, slides, and audio offered here are intended to assist those who attend the study, but may have to miss sessions; however all are welcome to use the material for their own study.
This study follows a particular view of the which we believe to be correct; but we recognize that our views may be wrong, and all should study the Scripture themselves to determine what God says, not what we say about Scripture.
