Dan and Ruthanne both attended LeTourneau College, graduating in 1979.  Dan has a B.S. degree in Physical Education.  They started Camp Redcloud (outside of Lake City, CO) in 1981 and were the directors of the camp until 2003.

January 2005, marked the start of our ministry with Capitol Ministries at the State Capitol in Denver, Colorado. Our mission is to share the gospel with legislators and staff through the faithful teaching of God’s Word and discipleship. Realizing that our citizenship is not on earth but in heaven (Philippians 3:20), the pre-eminent pursuit of our lives must be the same as Paul’s... loving, honoring, and treasuring Jesus Christ above all else. The only hope — the only answer for our country — is salvation provided in Jesus Christ...thus changing a man from the inside out!
