Newell, Ed and Jo
Ed and Jo Newell are Navigator Staff serving the Austin Church Discipleship Ministry Team. This team seeks to develop Intentional Disciplemaking Churches (IDCs) through a flexible process that is uniquely designed for each church in six major tracks...Mission and Vision, Spiritual Maturity, Outreach Ministry, Leadership Assessment and Development, Small Group Alignment, and Life-to-Life Mentoring. The primary method for developing IDCs is life-to-life ministry through a network of competent staff and associates who coach leaders and churches in the skill sets of the IDC. This team has been instrumental in the development of key equipping tools and resources for churches throughout the U.S. and is currently engaged in using The Intentional Disciplemaking Church Process and Discipling Others Seminar in several local and regional churches.
OUR PURPOSE - The transformation of people into Christlikeness through the development of Intentional Disciplemaking Churches (IDC).
OUR VISION - Every person in the U.S. having the opportunity to become a fruitful disciple through an Intentional Disciplemaking Church (IDC).
OUR METHOD - Co-labor with local pastors and lay leaders in helping their churches fulfill Christ’s Great Commission. Assist them in reaching, discipling, and equipping their people to know Christ and to make him know through successive generations.
