Noah's Flood and False Teachers
This month Pastor John has found an on-line article that ties in very well with the warnings about coming false teachers in 2nd Peter. Peter warns that in latter times people will even deny that the account of Noah, the ark, and the flood ever took place. Today mainstream "science" does just that.
However, there are other intelligent scientists who look at the same physical evidence and believe that the Biblical account could be true. The interpretation of the observable evidence depends on many assumptions, and those that rule out God and biblical truth will interpret the evidence differently.
This article doesn't try to prove the biblical account, but does look at the evidence and show that it is indeed feasible, and shouldn't be rejected just because of mainstream science. In doing so they speculate on how things could have happened, and this goes beyond the facts in the Bible, so we do not endorse all their ideas as true, but agree with their general viewpoint.
