Pastor’s Comments - Non-Biblical Evidence

Recently I’ve had a couple of people ask if there is any evidence apart from the Bible to substantiate the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. While I personally don’t need substantiation for the Bible from non-biblical sources, nevertheless, there are those who may and that’s ok. There is definitely substantial data that speaks of Jesus apart from the 66 books of the Bible. Always point skeptics and seekers to the Bible and the God of the Bible first and allow God the Holy Spirit to do His work in bringing someone to faith or to firmer faith. If the need arises for non-biblical evidence, rest assured that there is plenty. There are many books and articles that have been written and this one, written by Michael Gleghorn, is excellent and I’d like to share it with you in this monthly newsletter.
